Adult artists at Actorcraft move through a connected series of experiences designed to deepen craft, strengthen collaboration, and culminate in meaningful creative work. This year, that journey leads from Scene Study: TV & Film and the Brave Stage Play Reading Series to our newest filmmaking initiative, Hollywood in the Harbor.
The production is the project. The masterpiece is the person it helps create.

A Page to Screen Acting Class for the Curious and the Serious
Working from scenes drawn from today’s best television and film scripts, actors deepen their understanding of type, essence, story, and on-camera technique while preparing for Actorcraft’s original film productions.
Whether you’re stepping in front of the camera for the first time or returning to sharpen your craft, Scene Study is the perfect place to begin.
Your next stop? HOLLYWOOD in the HARBOR—our collaborative winter filmmaking intensive, where those skills come together in the creation of an original short film.

Brave Stage Reading Series 📖
Read. Discover. Imagine.
Seeking 12 actors interested in exploring three remarkable plays under consideration for future Brave Stage productions. Through a series of tabling workshops and public staged-reading events, participants will shape the artistic future of Brave Stage while continuing to grow as actors. Cohort members are invited to participate in all nine workshops and three reading events; are guaranteed at least one role in the reading series and up to three; and will serve as the production team for all three events.
