“MAURITIUS”
by Greg Heilman

“If the best advertisement for any acting school is how well their students perform on stage, then Actorcraft P2S can ask for nothing better than what they put up on stage at the Penninsula High School theatre this past weekend.”

The performances show clear commitment, the production demonstrates thoughtful guidance from its creators, and the result is a piece of theatre that succeeds not only as an educational exercise, but as an engaging evening for the audience as well.

“DETROIT”
by Greg Heilman

Actorcraft’s production of Detroit… demonstrates once again the quality of work being cultivated through the company’s educational programs. If Detroit is any indication, the future of Actorcraft P2S looks exceptionally bright.

THE SOUND ON STAGE PRESENTS:
GET TO KNOW A THEATRE

Over on the Kitsap Peninsula, there is no shortage of community theatre, and extend that over the bridge to Tacoma and there is a lot to choose from, but there has always been a vacuum between the bridge and Bremerton, a gap that has been made more gaping over the past few years. There’s also been a lack of places for aspiring actors, or even those with experience, to go on the “other” side of the water from Seattle to hone their craft or to follow their curiosity, a place to learn about acting for both the stage and screen. That’s where Actorcraft P2S (Page, Stage, and Screen) comes in. Click to watch the full interview!

GET TO KNOW A THEATRE PART II

In our first Get to Know a Theatre episode in 2026, we welcome back Jeremy Kent Jackson and Adrianne Alvarez-Jackson, co-founders of Actorcraft P2S to talk about their new non-profit Brave Stage, which provides a platform for their students to take the next step and learn first hand what it takes to produce and present a full length production. The seed for this was planted last season and their production of Mauritius, and with two shows this year, including Sarah Ruhl’s The Clean House, which opens on March 12 in Gig Harbor. Jeremy and Adrianne chatted with Greg about Brave Stage, upcoming shows, and what is up next at Actorcraft. s in. Click to watch the full interview!
