FOUNDER and MANAGING DIRECTOR

Jeremy Kent Jackson is an accomplished actor, educator, and entrepreneur. He has performed professionally in hundreds of films, voiceovers, commercials, television shows, and plays. Career highlights include his portrayal of regular recurring character, Douglas Davenport, on Disney’s long-running, live-action comedy series, Lab Rats; the lead character of Joker in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare; guest star roles on the television shows YOU, CSI, Without a Trace, CSI: Miami, and Drake and Josh; and lead antagonist, Robert Keller, opposite Stephen Dorff, Heather Graham, and Nicholas Cage in the 2025 Lionsgate film, The Gunslingers.

Jackson founded the theatre education company, DiscoveryOnstage, where he served as Co-Creator/Creative Director for more than 16 years; created and led for 9 years the drama program at Providence High School; and for 6 years served as Associate Dean of Performing and Entertainment Arts and Program Chair for BFA Acting at Studio School Los Angeles (aka HCLA, now AMDA). He holds a bachelor’s degree in theatre, a master’s degree in management & leadership, completed a six-level improvisation program at Minneapolis’ Brave New Workshop, and has been a member of SAG-AFTRA since 1999. Jeremy has been teaching and coaching actors for 30 years.

In addition to helming actorcraft p2s, Jackson serves as a member of the marketing department at Seattle’s ACT Contemporary Theatre and a board member for the Gig Harbor Film Festival.

adrianne alvarez-jackson, mfa, m.ed.
DIRECTOR of SPECIAL PROGRAMS

Adrianne Alvarez-Jackson is an accomplished director, actor, educator, and writer. She was the Founder and Artistic Director of  the Los Angeles based theatre company, Theatre Pangaea, co-created the long-running educational field trip production, Shakepearience, directed and taught acting at the famed Los Angeles County High School for the Arts, and served for more than a decade as the Performing Arts Department Chair and theatre director at the private high school school, AGBU. Additionally, Adrianne was a casting associate at The Mark Taper Forum, helped to design and launch educational programming for The Glendale Center Theatre, and was an audition coach for a myriad of performers including Modern Family’s Ariel Winter and pop music star, Phem, and high school seniors who gained acceptance into prestigious college and university drama programs including UArts, NYU, USC, and The North Carolina School of the Arts.

As an actor, Adrianne performed on the television shows Charmed and All My Children as well as onstage in New Jersey Shakespeare Festival‘s Measure for Measure, Glendale Center Theatre‘s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Falcon Theatre‘s Marisol’s Christmas, and The Mark Taper Forum‘s adaptation of The House of Bernardo Alba starring Chita Rivera. Most recently she was seen in Cornerstone Theatre’s original production, Highland Park is Here.

Adrianne holds master’s degrees in acting and education, teaching credentials in Washington and California, and is a published children’s book author (Mele Lew and the Magic Lute). She currently serves as an ELA teacher and special educator for the Central Kitsap School District.

Mabel Jean, born in South Central Los Angeles, was adopted in 2020 as a puppy by the Alvarez-Jacksons. She has been a dedicated member of their family ever since, helped guide the troop through the pandemic, and, in the years following, became a regular visitor to their performing arts and special education classrooms. She is a support for students and teachers who welcome it, an epic floor sleeper, and a theatre and film storytelling enthusiast. She has been cheering for and cuddling artists of all ages for more than 3 years.
